I have always used full gloss contact but have tried the satin at Melissa's recommendation as being a bit easier to work with than the gloss. It is easy to work with but it is taking me a while to get used to the satin finish.

Found Vipaseal Gloss quite easy to use although I still found it does still crease a bit.
Using the squidgee helps a lot.
After lots of trialling, Melissa from Vipaseal, has come up with the best book covering product ever. It is easy to use, you can reposition it while covering a book, and it feels good. My helpers who I have just taught to cover books and my old hands at covering , all love it and won't use anything else. Bubbles are a thing of the past in our library.
